My name is Matt. I am the Owner/Captain of the Go Topless. Ever since I was able to hold a rod and reel I was hooked on fishing. I started deck handing when I was 14 on Chandeleur charter boats, then made my way up to day fishing trips. That was my gig every summer. I earned my Captains License when I was 19. When I was 24 I joined the U.S. Coast Guard and completed 4 years of active duty service aboard 2 ships. While chartering I also worked on an ambulance as an EMT for the first 6 years. After graduating from paramedic school, I realized that working on the ambulance wasn't where my heart was. So I decided to dive in 100% and be a full time guide.
